SET HRD strategy includes information on the following:

  • National Plan for Higher Education institutions
  • Funding at Higher Education institutions to strengthen R& D capacity around centres of excellence
  • Encourage small enterprise and product development from technikons
  • Global science networks and collaboration

Sectoral Education and Training Authorities (SETAs)
SETAs are established to devise and implement the national, sectoral and workplace skills development strategies.
