SET HRD strategy includes information on

- National Plan for Higher Education institutions
- Funding at Higher Education institutions to strengthen R& D capacity around centres of excellence
- Encourage small enterprise and product development from technikons
- Global science networks and collaboration
Sectoral Education and Training Authorities (SETAs)
SETAs are established to devise and implement
the national, sectoral and workplace skills development strategies.
