Sub-committees
The NACI Act provides for the NACI Council to establish sub-committees to execute designated functions. They operate on the principle that the Council should approve the initiation of a study and the acceptance of the final report on such a study. The composition of sub-committes can change over time.
Sub-committees were established in the latter half of 2004 to oversee all activities with regard to the Strategic Thrusts:
- Infrastructure for innovation promotion
- Human capital and the knowledge base
- Science, technology and innovation for competitiveness
