WORKSHOP ON A REVIEW OF THE PROGRESS AND PERFORMANCE OF THE BIOECONOMY SINCE 2014

In 2020, the National Advisory Council on Innovation (NACI) carried out an audit of the South African bioeconomy sector. You are invited to a workshop at which the methodology and key findings of the study will be presented.

The workshop will also cross examine the proposed indicators to track the performance of the bioeconomy; explore possible additional indicators to be considered for future audits, and potential mechanism to improve the quality of bioeconomy data and general sharing; and identify sectors of the bioeconomy that could benefit the economy as a whole by being prioritised for funding
